Obituary of Mathilda Tulie Tlou

Mathilda Tulie Tlou was born on 16 January 1952 in Tlhabane. She was the beloved first daughter of the late Elizabeth Tutties Tlou, followed by her late brother, Calvin Duze Tlou.

She began her schooling at Reuben Monareng Primary School and later completed her education at Bafokeng High School. Throughout her life, Tulie dedicated herself to hard work and excellence.

She worked at several retail outlets and furniture stores, including Sales House, Top Centre, Dan Hands, and Ellerines Furniture, where she served as a sales assistant. With determination and commitment, she rose to the position of manager at Furn City, where she worked faithfully until her retirement.

Tulie departed this life peacefully on 29 August 2025, at the age of 73. She will be remembered as a woman of strength, grace, and love. She touched the lives of many with her warmth, kindness, and selfless spirit, leaving behind a legacy of compassion and resilience.

She is lovingly survived by her children, Basie Tlou and Kgomotso Tlou, her six grandchildren, and one great-granddaughter.

Tulie’s memory will live on forever in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.

ROBALA KA KAGISO, TULIE

Goodbye Message

“My dear family and friends,
Do not let your hearts be troubled, for I have run my race and found rest in the Lord.
Remember me with smiles, not tears, and hold onto the love we shared.

Be strong, for life must go on, and lean on one another with kindness and unity.
When sorrow feels heavy, find comfort in God’s promises—He will never leave you nor forsake you.

Though I am no longer with you in body, my spirit and love will always remain in your hearts.
Live with faith, live with hope, and live with love.

Until we meet again, remain strong in the Lord.”
